Futtocks
Talking Pictures TV showed the excellent 1957 film Hell Drivers the other day. Sean was the last of the stars of that to go. tonyXIII
Would it be in bad taste to remind everyone of a famous line from one of the Bond films, "No, Mr Bond. I expect you to die." Yes, it probably would. The obits I've seen so far all seem to ignore the film "Marnie". Sean Connery and Tippi Hedren. I liked it, but it was controversial. DavidM
When they were making the lavish big screen version of Murder on the Orient Express they wanted an all star cast ... and had the philosophy of getting the biggest first then everyone would follow . That was Sean ...which is something when you look at that cast
Futtocks
Someone's just reminded me of his film 'The Hill', which is another great one. And, of course, 'The Man who would be King'. The Hallucinating Goose
As a manic Bond fan, Connery has been a major part of my life since I was a kid. We have lost a true great today and I genuinely had a tear in my eye when I saw the news. Rest in peace Mr. Bond, you're drinking martinis and playing baccarat with Roger Moore in that utopian casino in the sky for all eternity now!

GUBRATS
One his best lines ( very bondesque in humour ) was in The Rock when he was captured by Edd Harris's gang of mercenaries " What are you ?
