Really looking forward to this game.

It can be called England/GB/Peppa Pig team and I'd still watch it.

Seems Bennett has made up his mind about the spine.

Stubborn old fool.

And clearly his word means nothing.

Bennett said: “I don’t like going back on my word when I said everyone would play but I cannot give Jake an opportunity because we need to fix things up with the right players in."

Worst GB back line I've ever seen.

He really does need sacking straight after this. He is talking about working towards the WC in 2021, but then playing Austin on the wing instead of Handley, a winger who will be 25 at the next WC and in his prime who would benefit from that wing slot.

No Clark! Either he's injured or this a wind up........or Bennett has got early onset.

Widdop can count himself fortunate to start all 4 tests which begs the question why did Bennett take so many halfbacks if he was going to persist with underperforming ones.

Bizarre about Clark. After the last 3 games, I thought he was more likely to start than miss the 17 entirely.

Unless he's injured as some have said above, I can't understand it.

I wonder what Mr Sinfield and Mr Peacock think about the team selection.

Given the pairs abject failures since retiring from playing,I wonder what they are even involved with our international teams.

how many of us actually want GB to lose this game just so it makes getting rid of bennett easier and quicker?

the grass may be greener on the other side of the fence but the crows are just as black

That is one shocking GB side 😕 To drop Clark defies belief!

Also, there are still nearly 6,000 tickets to shift for the game. Hope there is a big walk up!

I guess Austin has learned all the subtleties of international wing play in the last 6 days.

Its quite worrying that Bennett picks him on the Wing as it suggests so little confidence in the SL English Backs.

Hopefully PNG win this to help boost the international game and We get a new approach next year with a new coach.

The old buffoon can stick that team where the sun doesn't shine, that's a disgraceful side and someone should have stepped in and took the decisions away from him. He's took international rl in this country back 10 years on this tour.

You have a pretty good chance of your wish happening.

If PNG click and play like they did against Fiji last week it could be embarrassing.

Talent is secondary to whether players are confident.

Always loved PNG. And dropping Clark? Really? Count me in.

I staunchly support my country (except in one sport), but when it comes to PNG and a possible historic victory for the Kumuls, I endorse the notion of being a lousy unpatriotic turncoat every once in a while.

I hope not, but this could be the last GB Lions match for several years. 😞

Pretty sure it will be.

On a scale from 1-10 this Tour has been about a 2 or 3 at best looking at the Team/selections, crowds, results and promotion of the Tour.

It should never have been held once Australia showed no interest.
