The thing about the Sezer incident is that he could have tried to avoid the player on the floor and make an effort to get to the ball and play on.  And if the prone player stopped him the ref would have blown a penalty.

But he chose to fall over the player to secure the penalty and that's different.  He was within his rights to force the hand of the ref but I really don't like it.  If I decide to not bother watching Super League any more just watch the NRL then this is the reason why because it would have been called out as milking over there.

Only a deliberate tackle to the head, that was not it was a top quality tackle unlucky for the receiving player.

Do you still think that after that replay?

Missed the first half live, but Sky seem to be showing the wrong replay of this tackle where BMM should supposedly have been sent off. In the one they are replaying Murdoch-Masila stands still and a very small man (who I hope is ok) runs into his shoulder.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Yeah I agree with this, as much as Seizer was a dick and cheated it was still a penalty as the Warrington player rolled back into the area an acting half would go rather than roll to the side.

Agreed.

I don't like what Sezer did but there was a blatant attempt to slow down the play the ball.

Have to agree with the Sky folk. It was target practice on Matty English’s head, and BMM hit the bullseye and won a teddy bear.

What a feast of Rugby League - judging by the comments on this thread, people are watching at least two different matches, maybe more.

So what? It's a different game now to what it was in 1972

The world has changed in 100 years, so has rugby league, if you think a shoulder to the head is acceptable then you have problems

What do you think about a head to the shoulder?
