The Bulldogs have a pretty good record against Halifax. Hope  it continues on Saturday.

Panthers seem to be a club on the move upwards

Some very well organised and hard-working defence from Batley in that game, be interesting to see how they get on against Fev/Bradford in the next round.

Fax looked clueless in the halves.

A poor showing.

Yep, no organisation, no flair and no leadership. Gilmore and White led Batley around the park effectively - exactly what Gilmore was brought in to do.

That's been generous. Totally dominated.

Worth pointing out you said this elsewhere:

"Batley look like a team that will be m(or)e worried about relegation than top 6 so a loss to them really would be a worry."

Worryingly I still agree with what I said. 🤣 I also said to back Batley as well with the start, they do seem to have the whodoo over us.

As it's Oscar season, it's time for the nominations for the coveted "most embarrassing comment before a season-opener against Batley" award.

And the winner is...
no, the good news for Blues Ox is it's still Derek Beaumont for his "we'll go through the comp without being beaten home and away" quip before they visited the Mount at the start of the 2016 season.

Ive probably said worse than that before other seasons anyway. 🤣

Im clinging my hopes on our 86 season where we started with a draw and 2 losses before winning the league......At the moment I wonder if we can do it after starting this season with 3 losses. 🤣

Ps. That comment has not turned out to be wrong yet though.......although people are free to remind me about it come the end of the season.😳
