Les Dracs have Davies, Baitieri and Garcia absent, but welcome back the two Michael Mcs - Ilorum and Meeken.

Too close to call and Steve Mc has the challenge of deciding who to put up against Ryan Hall.

I think the great Catalans' run might just end tonight.

4th game in 15 days with covid restrictions making us arrive 3 hours before kick off.

A mountain to climb and we are just that. Climbers.

Joe Chan wrecking bodies left and right on debut. Born in 2002.

What's his best position, 2nd row? Hope him and his brother play for France.

I don't know. He's like 1m90 90kgs AFAIK, he might get bigger and go well at prop or he might not get any bigger and yes second row would be more suitable I think.

He's a tall body with quite the engine. Punches way above his weight and he's quick. I remember a few years ago he was the tallest player in the game and went flying past the defense, he was both the biggest and the quickest on the field. That's when you know the kid is special.

His older brother Tiaki is shorter and not as athletic but he hits like a truck. Must be something they put in the southern sea water.

They come from decent stock, their dad was a more than useful player

St esteve had him playing centre at the end of last season, it was a bit of a waste has he had less impact in the centre and didn't look comfortable,

Again pleased for Catalan.

Vast improvement in their discipline it seems. Pleased they seem to have maintained it again in a close game. Just hope that if they find themselves losing a tight game with say 20 mins to go,they dont lose it.

Brilliant! How old is Franco?

born 5th June, 1998.  So 23 years and 59 days...or thereabouts!

Rovers needed to be at our best to compete with this great Cats side, and afraid we weren’t last night.

Hopefully Smith will stop the experiment and move Taka back to the edges, with an Abdul/Milnes halves pairing - we looked so dangerous with that combination and Taka & SKD running dangerous edge 3’s outside of them. Can make the 6 if we do I reckon - need to keep reminding ourselves how a side as good as the Dragons would’ve buried us with 40+ a year or two ago. Definitely getting there!

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Franco was dominant in Elite 1 last winter for St Esteve.

He just needed a chance to show what he has.

Fancy a game of touch in Cambs or Lincs? DM me

He's very average when it comes to catching bombs and his defence is very suspect.

May he prove me wrong
