Well that was a really weird half of rugby.

Leeds massively struggled with go forward in the middle compared to Wigan getting down field with relative ease.

But the scoreboard says it is all about taking advantage of field position.

Really good effort from Leeds but the same faults that keep costing Wigan are repeated, unforced errors, lack of grunt up the middle,no attacking threat from dummy half & the worst centre combinations in the comp.Christ Hull must be awful.

Ash Handley might have got caught but that interception changed the course of the game. It killed the momentum Wigan were building.

Oh and there was a revelation on or about 25 minutes, all the Rhinos fans shouted "Forward Pass" now I wasn't sure they actually knew there was such a rule, I am positive over the years I have witnessed multiple examples of this misdemeanor happening at Headingley but it has been treated with stoney silence🤔

Leeds might be missing several of their best players but their team tonight has a far greater physical presence than the team Hull could cobble together last week. Makes a big difference if you can stand up to your opponents physically.

Looks to me like Wigan were expecting to win without working for it. Often happens the week after a walkover victory.
