There are other clubs to take players from you know.

I reckon that'll be the lot cos there's no one decent left now.

Lewis is already contracted with Keighley for 2024 so there would have to be a fee paid by York.

last I heard he was injured and trying to get cash for an op on go fund me which if true doesn't say much for Keighley, does it!

To bring you up to date.

He played on Sunday and didn't have an operation.

Really hope York aren't trying to unsettle him. Now that would be very poor.

Unless he's got the "Santi Clause" in his contract obvs.

Considering he's on his 3rd coach of this season I don't think he has such a clause 😂 he agreed new/improved terms after this season had started. Obviously a lot has happened at the club since then but as it stands he's under contract with us for 2024.

He played yesterday and cancelled the go fund me (that he never requested or wanted to happen) last week, refunding everyone that had contributed.

pleased the lad appears to be ok and doesn't need it, in any case I would be very wary about signing someone who is or could be carrying an injury especially after this season and the problems we have had. I suppose it is only natural for us to look at some of Keighleys players with Hendo being our coach and Santi has been a revelation, I really like the look of him and how he performs.

I'm not sure what the plan is after the season ends, I presume he could still need surgery long term. I'm sure Hendo will be looking at some players at ours, of the ones signed whilst he was at the club I think Adebiyi, Ioane, Storey, Doyle and Robson are more than good enough to be at a top 6 champ side imo. Brad Walker has some good games and then some not so good. Lloyd Roby a very useful utility back, and I think his brother George has signed for you already for 2024. Santi is very good and reliable, you know exactly what you're getting with him

Probably got a relegation clause in his new contact like most clubs and players put in. Its highly likely he will be playing else where next year. Hes one of the few decent players left at Cougar Park and wont want to be playing in league 1 again.

Simon Grix to join Hull as assistant to Tony Smith at the end of this season 🫤

Various names being suggested as his successor

I can't say I'm over disappointed, I think his time at the club has run its course and he can leave under his own terms, it gives us time to find a succesor, and saves the board having to get rid especially if he had penned a new longterm contract. My choice would be Liam Finn, our drop in form coincides with him leaving the club.

Jordan Crowther released, gone to Warrington until end of the season.

Very strange signing if this is who they've brought in to replace McGuire. Just can't see anything special in Crowther at all.

Yes, really.

They must have something on a high shelf they need someone to get down for them cos they can't have signed him to play Rugby.

Perhap's Trent Robinson sees that under his influence he can transform the sow's ear into a silk purse, at the time of Dom going to Newcastle did anyone envisage the player he would become?
