Yes I do blame the organisers. They had all of 7 years to make sure the PA system at St James Park works and now this

The PA system was working.  So testing whether it works wont of help in that situation.

You can do all the tests you want, but if something trips, you are screwed.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

No one from RL will have been allowed anywhere near the PA tech. Someone has ducked up and probably broken a few contract clauses!

I can remember putting on a concert where we weren't sure if the electricity supply was quite up to powering all the floodlights that were asked for.

We got them set up  for rehearsals and someone suggested leaving them on all afternoon to see if there was a problem.

They worked perfectly... until five minutes after the concert started.

Nope, I'm not joking. You can risk assess the possibility of these things happening by careful planning and bringing in production companies to manage the event.

No. You ARE joking. That's what jokers do.

Serious size, talent and speed in this Samoan team. Whether they put it together for the full 80, well we will see. I honestly think their current squad pips Tonga's.

I thought Vossy was commentating - where is he?

Maybe he's doing the Australia/Fiji match this evening.

Would make sense. Even though he would do any and all games. That's how much he loves his league.
