That's a better bet - also a spoons but more spacious and higher ceilings if you don't like rammed pubs. It's closer to the ground too, as is the Tollington Arms which is pretty decent and has an outdoor area if weather allows.

Apparently the firm that usually steward The Emirates are committed to Twickenham on Saturday.

This means it'll be a firm that don't know the ground and the set-up.

I'd be fairly certain this has happened many times before and that the Emirates and Twickenham have hosted events on the same day. I can't possibly see why it would be a big deal.

It’s a world class stadium, third behind Tottenham Hotspur stadium in this country (St James Park being first of course).  Cannot wait to be there.  It remains hilarious that getting to London is easier and faster than getting to the north west from Newcastle.

This game should look mint on tv too.

Taking notes on this thread with interest. I'm on the 8.58 train to KX from York on Saturday morning and stopping at the St Pancras Renaissance with our lass. Going to the game then a night out in Camden with a few of my London based mates. I'm so excited!

It's a proper event. 5am start for a flight down always gets me super excited.

I like looking around places like the airport, Kings Cross etc and looking / guessing to see whether they're going to game or not. 

I'm doing sod all work, next week could be worse!

By the way, although Drayton Park station may look close on the map, it tends to be closed when there's a match on at the Emirates.

A peculiarity of one of London's almost-forgotten lines - they only started erasing the Eighties "Network South-East" logos and running modern trains a couple of years ago, but it's still a bit of a spooky time-warp.
