Harry Stottle
I just don't get the hype that Joe Keyes receives, a game when he is required he goes missing - again in my opinion, he to me is one of those who is very noticeable when his team is having a going well, but hides in tough games.

paulwalker71
It wasn't the highest quality game I've ever seen, but it was excellent Sunday afternoon entertainment. As someone said, it really throws open the 1895 Cup and someone a chance of glory. Come on you Bulls
JonM
Yes, two good close games, enjoyed both of them. Some close games elsewhere too. 12-man Keighley held on to win 16-14 at Hunslet having been 16-4 up. Doncaster scored a couple of minutes from the end to beat Workington 24-20, with the lead changing hands several times in the second half.
bamfordsbeans
Great effort from Siddal. At 12-12 with 20 mins to go they looked the best side. If Siddal is a typical example of set up and performance on the field at the top end of the amateur game, I suggest that those people who only watch SL get down to their nearest club.

A game doesn't have to be great quality to be enjoyable. Both games were great entertainment for a Sunday afternoon and it meant I didn't have to sit watching Rich Kids Go Skint with Mrs. Goose! 1
The Phantom Horseman
Deserved win for Fax overall I thought. By no means the first time in recent years Fev have played poorly against a team they had beaten recently but the error count for the second game running was appalling. Obviously with six starters missing you can expect a downturn in performance especially with both starting half backs missing but that was really poor and with Ford apparently facing a long-term absence it's something Fev are going to have to deal with. Credit to Halifax who battled really well and provided some moments of quality too.
