The best thing about this game (apart from the pre-match Burrow family) is that it will eventually end and put me out of my misery.

Still better than Wendy ball and onion though.

I wonder if Ken Davy still has any of the receipts for when he acquired Ian Watson and most of this Huddersfield team.

Watson should be under huge pressure but I get the feeling he’ll be ok for a while yet. The outrage by the club regarding the Holbrook rumour makes you think they’ll try and battle through this. I’m not sure he’ll make his 5 year appraisal that a Giants fan on here mentioned though.

Won't have long to wait, retirement beckons for a good chunk of that squad looking at the ages

I say it most weeks but I’m still stumped as to what Huddersfield’s recruitment was all about in the off season. They needed quality, to add to what was a really solid team last year but they went for quantity. It felt as though Watson had too many players  from the off and he’s never had a settled side. He seems to shuffle the side looking for answers but that’s half the issue IMO.

The weather seemed ok, there's no discernible slope on the pitch, he had all his spine players available, so what is Watto going to blame it on this time? The boogie? ("To be fair, Jenna, the problem the lads have, to be fair, is that they just can't, they just can't, they just can't control their feet, to be fair.")

this pre match mnd awareness entertainment is great - showing there are some wonderful people out there and Robs family are just awesome - very touching build up to the game itself

Shame no one on the Western terrace could see or hear what was happening 😕

Thaler is looking ever so chubby these days. What would mother do?

O/T I've always thought portraying Thaler as Alan Bennett meets one of the clueless ones from Reggie Perrin is quite funny, but it lacks a bit of punch because it doesn't quite ring true to Thaler's actual character which is wide boy/loud mouth/jack the lad.

Problem with Huddersfield is either the coach has proved to be not good enough or the players don't want him as there coach, in other words he's lost the dressing room.
