That's because they never start thinking about it.

My subscription ran out a couple of weeks ago, I honestly can't be bothered with all the kerfuffle, went to a local club to watch the two away Leigh games since it ran out, so I will just await FTA broadcasts from now on for any other games involving other than my club away.

I don't particularly think it's a negative to RL - they will be doing the same for other sports, this is the point. They are trying to push content onto SS+ streaming. RL is a part of that offering. They offer more RL than ever - and on things like the splash screen when you launch the app etc. there is a Wigan player on the visual, and we are always featured on the adverts now.

As a customer, I just think it's a pain.

Now's Sky page gives five competitions their own prominent logo: Premier League, EFL, F1, The Hundred, Super League.

@Bedfordshire BroncoMy guess is yes or they'd be little point in having the app. They may be available for a limited time ,a day or two, only time will tell.

To access the app , after the match is over and there's no live game, football or whatever on, and therefore no red button to press, just press home button on remote and scroll to Apps, scroll right to skysports app and select.

Hope it's true!

There has been a noticeable step up this year. Every launch piece on SS+ has highlighted SL coverage too.

I've been exclusively streaming TV (via Sky Glass and Apple TV) for nearly three years now.

Its great. You'll be surprised how quickly you get used to it. The delay I experience on a live sport stream is at most 30 seconds.

It's one of their main content drivers on there I guess, a bit like Super League on Sky originally!

Tape it? If the match is for streaming only, such as the two tonight,  and starts at 8pm, and you go to skysports plus at 8.30 for example,  first you'll see the EFL game being  shown,  so press red button to select app, then select SL game, and you should be able to select " watch from start."

Also , some have said they've been sold a dummy by Sky and its unfair, but tbf Sky have said that this is available to those with the FULL sports package only. Basically that means those that pay for the football,  because without the new EFL/Sky deal there would be no skysports plus. This new channel allows them to screen concurrent SL games, Golf tournaments,  tennis tournaments etc,  but it's purpose is to screen multi EFL games, produced by the same IMG re- imagining RL. Let's see how they do!

All the Sky advertising said Sky Sports subscribers will have access to SS+ at no extra cost. As I subscribe to Arena and Action I fall into this category. Only when you dig further into the detail does it say you need the full sports package. Totally misleading in my book but hardly surprising given Sky's disdain for RL. At no point up to ten minutes before kick off last night was I made aware that I wouldn't be able to watch the game.

I think SL should also have made it clear to Sky Sports subscribers what they would need to do to access the games. Once again, disdain for the supporters.

They said full Sky Sports subscribers.

Not at the outset they didn't. It's been as clear as mud since it was announced. People still don't know if they can record games or how far behind the streams are going to be. Anyway it's academic now. I'm not paying out any more money to subsidise football which is what this is all about. RL is just an inconvenient add on

The option to subscribe to SL+ is there if you want your money to go to RL.

Thanks for that. With all the Sky hype I'd completely forgotten about SL+. An annual pass is half the price of a SS+ subscription. As I don't watch football that's the best route for me

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but the easiest way to find the games on sky is go to the main menu, select sports, select rugby league. All the live games are listed there.

Can we watch these Super League games on Sky Sports+ red button on NowTV as I can't find them?

They're all on Now TV, if that's what you're asking.

Click SPORTS across the top then scroll down to you get five logos (EPL, EFL, F1, Hundred, Super League).

Click Super League.

Fill yer boots.

(There may be other ways but that is guaranteed).

SS+ so far is a definite step down with no ability to record the game, complicated access for folks not on SS but connected via other routes. Poor HT coverage.

So far there is a hell of a lot of improvement needed. It's a long way off been on the main sky channels on a Fri night that we've become accustomed to...

Please tell me it’s been better on the RL games as I managed 5 minutes of the Barnsley game and already pulling out whatever hair I’ve got left. Buffering and filmed on a potato. Paying top dollar for nothing better than a dodgy box.

Checked out the Barnsley game after your comment. Surprised,  more than one camera, replays, a definite improvement on previous red button games.

HKR game is much better camera though still occasionally buffering which is infuriating.

Tried a couple of the EFL games and they’re no better than iFollow (appreciate most on here won’t be aware of it)

It's not necessarily bad quality once you've got to it and the game itself is on.

It's the whole experience around the game that's the problem for me re. RL on SS+

SS+ is literally an iFollow replacement.
