  • Josh Charnley (Leigh Leopards) – Grade B Contrary Behaviour – 1 Match Penalty Notice (Higher End).

Our job has been made much harder...We have to win this ..

Suspect it will be O'Brien coming back in at full back, with Hardaker moving to the wing and Hughes staying at stand off. Unless Lam is comfortable in bringing Hodgson or Nisbet into the team. Fear that you need your strongest backline when playing Salford though.

Harry,

Having had a look at the minutes of the sanction which are lacking in substance is just states Kicking out..

Can't say that it was obvious, I don't recall it and maybe the three onfield officials and VR also missed it if there was no free kick given, was there?

I agree...

Nothing remarkable about the incident.

If Josh gets 1 match for that, then If I were Harry Smith I'd be a tad worried.

Close, but Salford by 1 or 2 scores, I think the extra days off Salford have over Leigh will have a bearing.

Come on Salford!!

Could it have been the Wigan game ?? A few have mentioned him kicking out when he was on the floor at some point in that game

I saw the Charnley incident and thought at the time it looked like he was aiming at someone and it wa a bit naughty so not surprised he's copped a punishment.

Think Leigh will win this but it should be close.

You have the better of me daz, I don't recall it all, but if he has aimed a kick - which I assume was after being tackled - then he should quite rightly recieve a punishment, it is one of the two things I have really despised on a RL field, the other is the ball carrier leading with the elbow to the head of a defender.
