Vaughan suspended alongside Fitzgibbon (though Fitzgibbon wouldn’t have played anyway through injury - the Bateman signing making a little more sense now).

Dufty back in contention, but think he will return next week vs London. Harrison returns though.

So I guess

CTW, Thewlis, Tai, King, Ashton, Williams, Drinkwater, Yates, Powell, Harrison, Nicholson, Bateman, Currie. Subs Walker, Musgrove, Philbin, Crowther.

I think your view is probably right, extra week for Dufty. Bateman seems to be finding his feat both him and Yates look good signings.

Currie is incredible tonight.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Ant the mitigation that reduces it to yellow was what?

That the score is already 0-36?

Ridiculous.   All we want as fans is consistency.

Terrible. I think the annoyance from fans has had an effect here but it’s actually made it worse because that was clear cut and just makes it inconsistent.

What about when another player makes head contact, does a mystery mitigation now save them all from red. Another can of worms opened.

Head tackles ruin the game … players are too worried, ducking & cowering to play decent rugby. Not rocket science - send high tackles to the bin & then off. Obviously includes seat-belt tackles.
