cant wait to see Armstrong in action for  Leigh, great addition to SL hopefully - mainly can we just LET THE GAME FLOW! please? cant deal with another season of pedantic stop start stuff anymore

Moaning three hours before kick off is early, even for you.

I'm surprised there are hardly any takers for Leigh, even amongst the Leigh fans it seems. Yeah sure Wigan SHOULD win, but there are always a couple of upsets in the early season games and this seems as good a candidate as any.

Luke  Littler plays the perfect curtain raiser at 7.10 for tonights SL game so need to switch over during the game- perfect timing

I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

so the Littler game will be over before ko - although he may play later in the evening too depending on the outcome of the 7.10 game

So we have to schedule our games around what a podgy spear chucker from Warrington is doing now do we.

I'm going to go for a Leigh win in this one. I think it will have the physicality that you usually expect from a derby but won't be a free flowing game which isn't surprising for this time of the year. I think Leigh will do a really good job holding back Wigan defensively and despite having fewer attacking opportunities will make the most of them.

I'll go 16-12 to Leigh.

Wigan will have to be clunky for Leigh to anywhere near them.

Different Leigh this year. Very mobile pack and faster backs but will need time to gel.

They just need to believe though as Wigan seem to steamroller over us with ease.

First away win since 83 ?  No better time to do it and I would love it, but can’t see it. Wigan by 4 scores. 😢

Just worth noting that Wigan aren't always the best starters, however well they might go as the season progresses.

some people like watching both - stunning comeback from 5-1 down to win 6-5 by Littler - very entertaining - quick shower and now hoping the SL throws up just as much entertainment

Fair play. Nothing but positivity from now on. (At least for 10 minutes or so)

Yes commentators, we know Ethan is Julian O'Neill's son - but which Julian O'Neill?
