These early season games are usually a bit of an arm wrestle. Wigan are very good at arm wrestles of course, but I don't think they are going to run away with it.

Leigh played fairly well in the first game at the Brick last year and still lost by 18 points. Not sure how we’ll get anywhere near them this time

Some bad calls in that one but would settle for that tonight, we need our best out and time to gel to compete with the best away, we have neither

I think this could go either way. It’s the first game, so it depends on where teams are in their physical preparation. Leigh have a terrific side, and this is a “free hit” for them. There always comes a point when a winning side simply loses its edge (see City for an extreme example), and it could strike Wigan at any time.

Great to have the greatest game back.

Is this the game thread then? Hard to see past a Wigan win.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Pretty much every Leigh fan I know including myself is expecting the first of our annual Wigan drubbings inspired by the usual god like performance by Bevan French.

Looking forward to this game on Sky tonight.

Love watching French and Field but there's plenty more to like about both teams.

Usual script.  Leigh build a lead then Wigan slowly dismantle it.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.
