I think Mal is resting the obvious members of his top 17 - Slater, Morgan, Chambers and Frizell. There may be 1 centre and 2 wing spots still open to discussion with T-Turbo, Mansour, Gagai, Holmes and Dugan in the mix. It would make the selectors' job a lot easier if one of them had a dreadful game or went full Brough afterwards.

I hope the weather is good and that the Lebanese community get behind their team in numbers. Farah will need to be even more ingenious in his refereeing and disrupting the game. What other tricks will he have up his sleeve?

I respect Farah as a player but not his attitude.

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.

The only chance for the Lebanese is if Robbie Farah can get into the Aussies' faces early doors.

There is no chance here for Lebanon. Only hope is that the Aussies ship a few tries and it is an entertaining game. Lots of free ticket give aways too and some people saying PAX had reached 23k. I'm sure not all will show but we may at least get a crowd approaching 15-20k.

Having to give away tickets to a World Cup with all that lead in is another thread altogether :/ Hopefully the Lebanese fans will make it a great event.

Third shock of the day.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Mmmm interesting decision from Childs and then the Aussies run down field and score! Still it won’t be the last game he affects the result in! ?
