what / how are you looking to use it Oxford, a lighting tweak and nothing more or? Name i hear repeated time & time again is GIMP .  Canon also supply their file editor ( DPP) for free, Id be surprised if Nikon didn't do similar. I go for the Adobe package, as much for the hosting / online storage as for Lightroom and PS

I have a few different things I do the main one which may sound odd on a photography thread ( though I could be entirely wrong on this) is to help me create paintings (very poor ones) from different photos.

I also take photos so I keep the light consistent for painting.

So I'd like one that includes artistic transformations.

But, in any case, thanks for the help, really appreciated.

from a technical perspective, light is light. the  artistic side and workflow tend to differ for each discipline but  many will still lean on their favoured style. I do quite a bit photography at obstacle course races ( bear with me 😄 ) but they all very much have a portrait feel to them still where others typically look and emphasise the landscape around them as that is "their eye".

Examples of what i mean, yes they're up to their ears in Muddy water but its still a portrait of sorts

Jam Eater  1.(noun. jam eeter) A Resident of Whitehaven or Workington. Offensive.  It is now a term of abuse that both towns of West Cumbria use for each other especially at Workington/Whitehaven rugby league derby matches.

You could write a children's story about your adventure back to the north-west, WR, and call it, "The Bench"...oh no, hang on...

Recently had a short visit to Falkirk to see the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel.

The Kelpies are my wife's photos and the Falkirk Wheel are mine.

Is there not any restrictions to where and height you can fly a drone?

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.
