Thinking back many years there is a book called 'why do buses come in threes', one of those that tries to make maths fun, accessible and relevant. One of the things that it discusses is the maths behind reducing the speed limit in order to increase average speed.

Another benefit - maybe the attention-seekers currently on the anti-vaccination bandwagon would see a lowering of speed limits as the latest thing to be noisily against.

I would suggest it would , problem is Audi's won't go below 80 on the motorway

I haven't had a boost chocolate bar in years. You're probably talking at least 10 years.

I've had the odd boost to my mood over the years but not very often.

When I was a kid my friends would often give me a boost over a wall to do a bit of the old trespassing or to stare in the bedroom window of the neighbour girl.

when a film says it starts at 9pm on itv4 or 5select etc etc then start the film at effin 9pm not 9.04pm so we can sneakily have some more adverts shoved down our throats thinking we wont notice cos we are so gullible - otherwise advertise the film at 9.04

Anyway, my rant is this: the inconsistent pixelating and blurring of product logos on TV.   You see some product names blurred out so you can't tell which make of say, sewing machine or food mixer is being used in a programme. Does not extend to Apple, who get a free run as every need correspondent users their products with the Apple logo visible. Free advertising.
