DoubleD
Their private investor has pulled out, so they've setup a crowdfunder to finish the clubhouse. Any donations would be appreciated. Damien
I saw this yesterday and its such a pity to get so close to completion then something like this happens. The only good thing is that it is only another £20k that is needed which should be very achievable.
Spidey
You’d hope the local professional clubs would make a donation to help out?!

Leyther_Matt
They've just had a short feature on Radio Manchester so hopefully that raises awareness. It worked on me, at least, as I've just bought a brick for 30 quid

Pigeon Lofter
Is there a problem with the payment processing being employed? I have tried to donate, and even added a tip to go towards the costs of the platform (seems unavoidable-LOL), but can't progress to the next (secondary) screen. Anyone involved in the project might want to take a look and de-gremlin it?
IM2
Just banged in £150. grass roots bricks and mortar facilities is always something ill support & will ultimately build the game 3
Eddie
Just stuck a few quid in, I haven’t got a pot to p155 in but it would be tragic if this clubhouse isn’t finished. 220 juniors and two open age teams deserve better.
City RL
Just put some money in. Not sure they're going to make the rest of the 20k in the ten days left, hope so as this is real infrastructure expansion of the sport.

If you have a look they are getting steady money in, £300 in the last 24 hours, though not enough to get there at that rate.

Yes did have a quick look. Painful reminder of how financially poor the sport is. Need a lot more people donating to reach the target.

Whippet13
Over £32k now thanks to a £10k contribution today from Sport England. £12K over target now which is great news for the club and very well done to whomever put that funding application in.

To be fair there has been plenty to slag him off for, all brought on completely himself often through his Twitter account. I think praise when he does something very decent like donating money and criticism when he does something daft like calling the general public brainwashed is fair enough.
