Getting a bit giddy now. First Bash in ages and it's not in that dump Blackpool.

Hope Leigh fans aren't put off by the train strikes 😎

I agree Blackpool could be described by many as a dump, but it is like most towns in that it has some nice and some not so nice parts to it, so in fact it caters for all manner of folk whatever their persuasion.

Train strike won't affect the Leigh fans one bit David, one can get anywhere in the world from Leigh bus station.

Enjoy the game!

Squads named for the Leigh Fev game. Fev's injury list has grown again and the 21-man squad is missing Kheirallah, Kopczak, Jacks, Bussey, Pickersgill, Cuthbertson and Davies.

Jesse Sene-Lefao won't be playing either according to his Instagram.

Looking at the stadium a few minutes before the first game kicks off, they might need to bring back the Covid-era canned crowd noises for the opener...

Decent contest - no idea who'll win this with 25 minutes left.

The score's blowing out now, but it was a close fight for much of the game.

So that's Big Mac's trick is it, don't show his hand and keep his cards close to his chest then bring them all out for the GF as a new team! We know your trick so we will not be putting all our moves on Mr Lam has told his charges once they get to 50 just go through the motions and keep them guessing🤓

I'm sure I read that the bash was due to be on freesports this weekend as well as premier but their schedule shows no sign,am I imagining that it was part of the original tv deal

I read this also.

However it isn't on now. Only Premier sports?

Australian TRLers can watch the bash on Fox League (Channel 502): https://www.foxtel.com.au/tv-guide/channel/FOX-LEAGUE/SP2

They didn't show the Broncos/Sheffield match though, as it overlapped with the last NRL match of the day.
