Neither triumph nor disaster. Looks and sounds good enough to me.

Indeed, decent enough turnout and came across well on TV.

With SH likely to announce a dedicated international window at the end of the season with a pacific cup - NH really need to figure out what they're going to do. Otherwise the gap between the two will just get bigger and bigger. England vs France needs to be yearly at a bare minimum. Was a decent game in the world cup and good chance England wouldn't have NRL players making it even more even.

Without players from more nations playing at the same level as the England players (or close to it) week in and week out, there isn't much they can do is there?

A shout out for Ash Golding , he's played in virtually every position , been involved in half the tackles , him and Farrel ran themselves into the ground

Felt a bit for the Lebanon lads as well , we didn't really applaud them as we should , I suppose today they were the ' villains ' of the piece , next week we'll all be supporting them against the common ' enemy ' , they are a big , fast , strong team well marshalled by a pair of good ( top class in Moses ) half backs

Just out of interest , would it not be better if we had a West Indies team as we see in cricket ? , A bit controversial I know but would they be stronger , and therefore better equipped to compete ?

Are we gonna get this terrible level of punnage every time Moses & Lebanon Aaron the TV?

Yes , if you’re lucky . If you’re unlucky , worse than this … this is some of my best work . It’s compulsory , in fact it’s the 11th commandment
