Expected. That commentary, much like Wide to West, They Think It’s All Over, You’ll never see anything like this etc is now iconic with that sport.

I demand they use footnotes to explain its origin.

(I don't really and know why it's happened, it's just ... grrrrrrrr...)

Of darts.

This has made me irrationally angry.

some of us on soc media made efforts at the time to link the Mick Morgan clip to all the mentions, so I think RL did get a bit of attention from it at the time, but you can't deny what a good job they did packaging up those 75 seconds and pushing it out there.

But I agree, laws should be passed to prevent them from using it any further!

It was referred to Mick Morgans commentary when re runs of it were aired.

It does make me laugh that Morgan goes off at a hundred miles an hour with massive (superb) rant about the incident, Campbell and Skerret without stopping for breath.

And then says he can't speak.

Ehhh - I'm hardly going to take a darts presenter's opinion on anything.

When Mick Morgan wrote his autobiography (in collaboration with Steve Till) he titled it 'I Can't Spake'.

My mates and I use the "send him off the field" lines at non league football a lot now.

Last weekend, we were in Berlin watching the ice hockey when a player tripped another with his stick, he was rightly banished to the sin bin box but not before my mate shouted

" Get him off the rink!, if you've got any bottle referee you'll have him skating"

Much to the bemusements of the locals 😄

A fantastic prop.  Tough and skilful.

At his best he may not have been the very best prop in the world but he wasn't far off.
