A good game for Siddal drawing the Eagles at home, think we will take a few fans across to CleckHuddsFax...

Wonder if it will be played at Siddal's ground...

I imagine it will be played at their home, wouldnt make sense for them to move it. Should get a decent crowd if the Fev V Fax game is played on the same day as I imagine most Fax fans won't bother travelling over to Fev.

We are all wondering the same, as it could be played at Siddal / moved to the OLP, or another venue, depends on expected crowds...

Wow. Wests Warriors v Widnes Vikings.

The team I pop down the road to watch alongside about 50 others facing a name that is etched in my mind from the 80' and 90's alongside Wigan and St Helens.

Will be interesting to see what Wests do with this.

They play on a rec, don’t they? Surely won’t be played there.

Typically they play at either Wasps FC in Acton or Chiswick Rugby Club.

Both a nice little community clubs but nothing more than a pitch with a barrier around (main pitch).

They will surely have to take it elsewhere.  From a selfish perspective, I hope not Widnes.

Some excellent looking ties in there, albeit I worry that this draw format exposes a lot of amateur sides to very high level opponents a bit early.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

It’s preferable to what we do in the later rounds where only 4 teams get a shot at SL teams which makes it feel like a SL comp .

Yeah I don't love that either. I think the balance was better when the last 32 was more or less the professional UK ranks plus a couple of amateur sides and a couple of Élite clubs.

Can anybody tell me how old Westgate Common are, and what league they play in? I have to confess, I had not heard of them until recently.

I think they’re 3/4 year old?
play in the Yorkshire mens league premier. I believe they won it last year, which is why the got into the cup.
extremely tough draw for them against hunslet. They looked fantastic against pilkington recs

They won't bother travelling over regardless even when their club get a share of the gate.

So after this round we have 16 winners, are the bottom 8 SL clubs joining?

So we are then left with 12 Winners and  the 4 remaining SL clubs is that right?

HW

No. Nobody else joins until they are down to 4 teams left. Then they are joined by 12 SL clubs.

Fev-Fax and Leigh Miners-Rochdale Mayfield would be the purist choices I guess.

Which tie has the most realistic potential of an upset out of the others?

Won't happen but I'd be delighted if Acorn turned over Bradford.

So they can tell people they got to the last 4 in the Challenge Cup.  Pretty cool.

Personally would prefer Acton, not far from my eldest.
