Not last season in s/f Fev gave Batley plenty of credit and best team won.

Doesn't seem like it, shame but they probably  think what's the point ,never going to win anything and RL won't be top of their income worries. Don't think diehard fans will cover match day expenses.

I’d agree, Batley way better than us in the playoffs last season, completely deserved the win. We certainly would never underestimate the Bulldogs.

Not what I was thinking but not ruling anything out. I was thinking of a guy who has played hundreds of games at both local and international level. Also been at Fax previously in an assistant type coaching capacity. Currently in his virgin year as an head coach and riding high within his team’s respective league.

He would be my choice.

Can't really comment on today as I didn't go but from comments on social media and on here I am presuming that Batley were lucky.

I went to Batley today expecting a tough battle, instead I saw an absolute hammering.

Fax were awful, in every facet of the game, Batley were very impressive.

Some very angry Halifax fans stood near me.

My son went with his mate. Both pro players who did not have a fixture today. Both attended as neutrals. He said Fax were awful.

Batley get plenty of respect every season for the way they go about things. Only reason Fev fans are in a constant state of rapture about Batley is they're potting themselves about being beaten by Batley (again) when it counts. That and the corned beef hash.
