If we compete for the remaining games that will be a positive sign for the future, even if we lose. It feels like we're on the verge of an on-field collapse though, so who knows.  One thing's for sure, the off-season can't come soon enough. While we're not in relegation danger this season has been a huge fizzer marked by all sorts of player drama. Some of this was probably inevitable as Smith will have replaced the bulk of the team in 18 months, including all the starting spine players from when he arrived, who were clearly not up to much. However, Smith will enter next season with the opposite of the goodwill "bank" he had at the start of this one - signings to date are not exactly likely to get people excited, and if we don't start well he'll come under all sorts of pressure.

Leeds away is very rarely easy for us, regardless of Leeds form or their absences. It's a game with loads of history and Leeds still having an outside chance of the play offs will motivate them. On the positive side, we do seem to have flicked a switch and we're playing well at the minute. The forward pack has gone from limping along, to looking full of power and threat and the bench is making a big difference, with Mago, Dupree and Nsemba all adding loads when they come on.

I'll go Wigan by 8

Yes of course but Wigan are bang in form with a pretty healthy squad

We’re inconsistent with quite a lot of first choice players missing, hence my prediction.

You are even inconsistent with a full squad of player's Chris.

But back to today, hopefully it will be an open contest with no spoiling tactics of lying on in the tackle or if there is the ref is strong enough to stop it.

Apart from the disaster in Round One the biggest Leeds defeat this season has been by 14 points. Whatever you say about them - that they are mistake prone, lacking in quality, inconsistent, passive in defence, play like they've never met each other - one thing they haven't done under Rohan Smith so far is lie down and take a beating.

And they almost always win when the totalrl match poll says they will lose and lose when it says they will win.

Hope you’re right, but I can see field and French running riot in this weather.

Our points difference and league position tells the story of our season.

A bit more composure and we could be 4th, but we just haven’t been good enough to close the games out
