Right decision in the end, unfortunate that you lose a potential home game but safety has to come first. Hopefully something can be sorted so it's still an added home game for Town.

I agree, there should be blank weeks this year, eg CC final weekend [cant see either of us being in it] and if not it will still be our turn next year?

So the warnings of 72mph winds are wrong Havenfan.

I live in the North Highland where we regularly get gales  but expect damage when it goes over 65mph. The club have a duty of care and have made the only decision they could. They could not risk  lives, and hope the Marquee is still in one piece tomorrow.

Keep safe all and hopefully I might be able to get down for the rearranged game.

I take it back the wind has picked up a bit since this morning correct call in calling it off. Shame it would of been a even game in these conditions.

If it's the 1895 match both clubs miss out on revenue so hopefully it's a free weekend that suits both clubs, today's attendance would have been affected by the weather as well, correct decision to call off today in my opinion .

Glad it was called of, Haven couldn’t afford to pick up any injuries, would have been a unpleasant day to play and to support.

Yes but we have missed out on going into the Barrow match next week with a good WIN under our belt 😜
