Seems like potentially a big deal - he has been involved in some pretty high profile property developments, and quite a lot of charity/philanthropy. He's from Cas originally, previously been a club sponsor for some years.

Wish them all the best, it's what they need. He must have spotted something, because these guys don't throw money or time away. However doesn't matter how you view it Cas are two years behind, and nobody can change that, it's an uphill task.

The Cas non-statement statement. Looks like they’ve been caught out by the Companies House update and not co-ordinated their release of the news. Now going to be playing catch up with the speculation. 
 

Hopefully this is very good news insofar as sponsorship and maybe ground development that their fans crave for.

Be interesting how long any due diligence period lasts in comparison to Wakefield's.

He's not taken ownership though, just invested and come on board as a director.

The Fulton's still own the club.

He might not have invested a penny in order to take a directorship.

Let's not get carried away with what this means in the grand scheme of things,

It certainly feels a positive step though.

He's bought some shares (almost certainly) from the Foultons. So far they are the only beneficiaries and (likely) still remain the majority shareholding ......

For how much though?

And where does that money go - to the Fultons'?

It may not be an input of money - it could be a taking on of liabilities.

He's certainly not an oil Sheik.

He's bought somewhere between 25 and (less than) 50% of the shares. The Fultons own(ed), by far, the majority of the shares....so yes they will have gained

Bit out of the blue is this.  But certainly interesting.

Jepson's personal wealth might not be huge, but at 61 and bearing in mind some of the roles he has had he must have wealth.

He's also seems a real succesful, influencial guy.  A few quick Google searches and note thing like (in 2013) the evening standard described him as "the man who has the lock on just about every potential development site in London" (through the company he was the vice president of).

Surely he can sort messily £12 million pound ground development in his home town of Cas!!!!

I wouldn't get too excited at present but its certainly one to watch with interest.

Not sure a company doing the type of developments his are are that hard up to be profitering from the downfall of the only professional sports club in his home town for a small gain...

Some have suggested that IMG coming in would put off all would be investors.
