Just a thought who's going to do the count is the council going to send some one and when his tally counter reaches their perceived number will he  get security to escort people away from the terrace or just shut the gates 😖

It will almost certainly be up to the club (ground safety officer) to enforce the limit although there's the real possibility of a council official turning up to check that they are monitoring and do abide by the limit set. It would be a serious breach if the limit was exceeded and I wouldn't be surprised if the Council could order the terracing to be closed for future games.

Squad's gone up on the RFL website and it looks like we're down to bare bones and have only named 20. We know Minikin's suspended (and Roberts) but there's no Massey, and no Tanner, whilst as expected Yei is still absent. Wellington Albert is included and we've drafted in Zac Fishwick on DR from Hull KR. Three former academy Wakefield players in the 21.

Looks like Bowes will continue at half back with 80 minutes on the cards again for Jones.

I think it would be harsh for the council to strictly enforce it, if the time of the announcement matches the time the club was told. The club could put things in place to manage it, i.e. ticket type per area such as terrace or Ward Hygeine or family stand and allow people entry through different turnstiles. That would take some time though and as I said, would be harsh to enforce after 2 days. I assume the same limit will be in place for Good Friday which might be more strictly enforced.

Says DR in an earlier post on this thread.

With injuries and suspensions, we're short on numbers this week, hence the DR signing even though it's the Challenge Cup and I think that means Fishwick will be Cup-tied for Hull KR.

Of the 20 named, Harris and Farrar are outside backs so I'm not sure if there's a place for eithre of them.
Albert is straight off the plane, but if he's fit, he's fit.

With most of the absent players props I think we are going to have to ask Bussey to play in the middle.

My team would be:

Aekins

Waco-Hardo-Wynne-GG

Bowes-Lacans

Springer-Jones-Kamano

Day-England

Addy.

Bench: Bussey-Albert-Fishwick-Moore/Tomlinson

I thought something like that too. In this instance I might go with Bussey over England at back row and get England to play middle off the bench, but equally, we might have to get Tomlinson to play middle off the bench too, which isn't ideal. We might even just use 3 off the bench (which invariably attracts criticism but does mean you can give one of the middles more than one breather).

Being honest, we're up against it this weekend looking at the two squads, I suspect this might have come too soon for us to really challenge them. Hope I'm wrong though and that we have a proper dig.

It’ll be in force till the work that is required doing is completed, it’s just not for one game.

Yep, I was going to reply to MB's comment that a blind eye might be turned due to the short notice but didn't want to derail the match thread much more - as I have now done of course 😉

Suprised they wasn't more interested in the noise from the fair. Glad I don't live next to the ground.
