Good Friday RL triple header

Looking to be a massive day of RL:

 

9am:  Brisbane vs North Queensland 

12noon:  Hull KR vs Hull FC

3pm:  Wigan vs St Helens 

 

All live on Sky - massive crowds and not a lot of other premium live sport that clashes with it (EFL football).

I'll watch one game, switching channels only if the on screen "spoilers" as they are mis-named, encourage me to switch.

Ps. IIRC, the appellation "triple-header" applies to three games between the same two teams, played sequentially at the same ground. I believe the term originated in baseball as a "double header".

I'm not sure Brisbane and NQ qualifies as a typical Good Friday Derby.   Broncos vs Redcliffe would be more tasty.   Last year's game was a fantastic atmosphere.

Will probably watch live some of the Hull derby and then the whole Wigan v St Helens game after the football has finished. I don't follow the NRL.

Probably watch some of the NRL, could be all depending on what time I get up! Maybe dip and out of the Hull derby then all of the Wigan v Saints game.

I'll watch all 3 then go to South Leeds to watch a proper game. Hunslet V Keighley - 7:30pm kick off

For reasons unknown. Good Friday ain't a holiday over here. It's the Monday and Tuesday. 

One of those games looks like a blow-out so i shall pass on the Hull derby.

Where is 'here', Irish Saint?  I ask because your profile details indicate you are in Belfast and the UK government seems to think that Northern Ireland has a bank holiday on Good Friday!  Here's the link:

I don't usually watch the NRL, so will concentrate on the two SL matches, but, due to other commitments, may well end up watching both later on Good Friday.

Incidentally, one of the Stanley family once said that there are only two sporting fixtures which can properly be described as 'derbies'.  One is the famous horse race in this country; the other is St Helens -v- Wigan at rugby league.  By his reasoning, I suppose Hull FC -v- Hull KR is a game of great local rivalry, but not a 'derby'!
