Fax were beating Bradford 26-0 at halftime back in the Thrum Hall days.

After the break Danny Peacock was unplayable and led the Bulls to a 26-30 victory 😡

My boss at the time was a Bulls fan, I had to take all sorts of s**t for a fortnight

Workington were 38-6 down at half time away at Sheffield in 2006 - then won the second half 40-6 to win the game 46-44.

Hmmm - I didn't think we were that far in front. I'll check up.

Meanwhile, we lost 36-32 at London a couple of seasons ago after leading 32-0 at halftime.

But the real drama is in wiping the lead out inside the last 12 minutes, not so much the size of the lead.

Remember that it was when the gas board dug a trench 30m from Londons  line  after the interval.

Changing point was Peter Fox coming in to the field of play to complain about the ref if I remember correctly. Also remember Asa Amone scoring and showing the ball for about 20 yards to the chasing Bulls player. That really was not a good day for us. For a long time it was regarded as the biggest comeback in recent history and not sure if anyone has beaten it since.

Edit: Reading above it seems they have.

It was 38-22 at half time. Johnny Woodcock scored a converted try in the first minute of the second half to make it 44-22 and that was the widest margin at any point in the game.

Scoring went.....

6-0, 12-0, 12-6, 16-6, 16-10, 20-10, 20-16, 26-16, 26-22, 32-22, 38-22, 44-22, 44-28, 44-34, 44-40, 44-46.

So by no means as dramatic as York but still a decent effort.

Down under Dolphins came from 26-0 down after 34 minutes to beat the Titans 28-26 .last season. The biggest comeback in 115 years of Australian rugby league. Two seasons previous to that Titans had given up a 22-0 lead at the Broncos.

St. George-Illawarra Dragons vs. Manly Sea Eagles, Round 25 2004

A 24-point turnaround that no one saw coming.

The Sea Eagles raced out to a strong lead and were winning 34-10 with 23 minutes remaining in the match.

Nathan Blacklock started the comeback after gathering a kick from Mark Riddell in the 56th minute.

Nathan Brown's men clearly took all the momentum and scored four more tries.

It was Justin Poore who crossed the line for the final try before cult-hero Mark Riddell slotted the conversion to give the Dragons the lead with three minutes remaining.

Dragons win, 36-34.

Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, Round 1 2012

This was one of the most famous comebacks in rugby league history...until it was topped by the same two teams later in the year.

The Rabbitohs had an eight-point lead, 20-12, with just over two minutes remaining, a pretty safe bet usually?

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves barged his way over for a try before Anthony Minichiello scored the most miraculous of tries to win the game for the Roosters.

Boyd Cordner certainly gets to keep his kicking license after this one!

Roosters win 24-20. Then…

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Sydney Roosters, Round 19 2012

It couldn't happen again right?

But it did. Just this time, reversed.

The Roosters led by 10 points, 22-12 with LESS than two minutes remaining. The points were sealed, right? Wrong.

Dave Taylor fired up, helped his side find some space and eventually Nathan Merritt crossed over to bring the gap to four points.

Then Dave Taylor linked up with Chris McQueen to find some space off the kick-off that eventually led to the most incredible Adam Reynolds try.

It was capped off by perfect commentary from Warren Smith, 'take me now I have seen it all'.

Rabbitohs win 24-22. Incredible
