I really want to know where you can hire a coach for £700 for a return to London from St Helens. That’s very cheap

I'm only assuming but is the suggestion that it's an uplift of that amount rather than the whole cost?

Even so, we're talking peanuts.

I do think there is an element of just ignoring irrelevant ignorance operating on the fringes to an extent. Acknowledging it would give it more fire. However as we saw with Toronto, total lack of leadership and a lack of a supporting voice created a huge vacuum.

Yeah, it's a balancing act, I just think we are far too quiet, nay silent on almost everything!

Yep. I reckon there’s plenty of NCL clubs with a bigger coach bill than some SL clubs

35,502 at the Bulldogs v Manly game. The biggest ever attendance in the Friday 6pm timeslot.

Amazing effort by dogs fans as I don’t think there would have been many manly fans there.

Great crowd 👏

Yes the club has done a great job building on last years momentum with crowds and I expect ST sales to increase again next year. With the fan zone and prematch entertainment there a far more people coming but also coming for much longer so spending money in the club shop and at the bars. Considering it’s one of the most expensive ticket/membership in the league it should also take a bit of the burden off DB.

Twitter thread of an experience from a neutral fan attending which expands on what I wrote with regards to matchday experience. Interesting point regarding a younger audience at Leigh than other grounds they've attended, can't comment on other teams as I've not done enough away days this season but it has felt a much younger crowd at Leigh this season.

I think it's brilliant to see that trips to Catalans are still as popular as ever. I think it's been such a positive development for RL in Europe and I'd love us to make even more of the coverage from France.

I've never actually made it to Perpignan for a game since they joined SL, only watching my team in Barcelona - but defo on my list for the next year or two.

I didn't make it this year but i've been many times and it's a wonderful experience, especially if you stay in Perpignan rather than busing it up for the game, it's a wonderful, vibrant city with some fantastic people, bars and eateries.

Could be looking at sub 3,000 this aft.

Only 600 saints fans and every excuse needed for Giants fans - it's a Sunday, kids back tomorrow so they can't possibly leave the house today, it's on TV, it's 3.05 kick off and that extra 5 minutes will make so much difference to them getting there or not, there's a premier league game on TV, thewlis hasn't been sacked, it rained this morning, etc etc.

Either that or rugby league fans, everywhere have just stopped bothering.

Leopards have a huge young following a photo of a group of their fans behind the goal convinced a potential client for LED ads and radio advertising on rugbyleague.com to become a client.

Hats of to DB

Jeez that's a poor following from us.

I can only begin to imagine the stick we'd get for posting out we were taking less than we'd normally do for an away game, in our case it would be 'we've sold 45'!

Do Saints do this for every away game? if so it seems strange they're putting a post out 'celebrating' what is a pretty awful away following for them.

I'd have expected a minimum of 1,000 on a Sunday afternoon, have their fans ditched them that quickly after a couple of barren seasons?

We tend to, yes.  It's the lowest I can recall this season.
