Oldham now taking bookings for a 4th supporters coach for this Sunday’s game at Keighley. An Oldham win would secure the title and automatic promotion to the Championship for 2025. Should be a good crowd.

4th coach now full.

I once knew a girl from Oldham, she had a wonderful chest, i wanted to visit her so i asked how do i get to Oldham, her reply was 'buy me a drink'

Since 2014, only Liverpool had a lower day one crowd - and this one was a stacked fixture list.

Manchester in 2012 and 2013 also had a lower day one crowds, but the bigger fixtures were more evenly spread out with the bigger teams. (2012, Bradford v Leeds and St Helens v Wigan were day two. 2013, Leeds v Wigan, plus Bradford, played on day two)

What do you expect Elland Road is a tip and all the game is doing is asking the same poor hardworking fans to put their hands in their pockets again.

Today: 22,293

Overall: 53,103

Second lowest Magic weekend crowd after Murrayfield. And this at a venue where there was a de facto home game for the league’s best supported club.

Absolutely.

Magic is yet another opportunity wasted at the alter of corner-cutting and "that'll do-ism".

22,293 is 58% of capacity,  possibly a tad imaginative.

I've never been to Elland Rd, so genuine question,  if it's a dump why is it packed out when LUFC play there ?

because it’s the only place you can watch LUFC?

For the same reason Old Trafford is packed out when it is literally falling down?

It's as much of a dump as old trafford... but it doesn't stop people going...

If people are brought into the magic weekend concept the fact the stadium isn't a super dooper stadium wouldn't be the major attendance stopper

It does cast a slight bit of doubt on the weight we put on facilities when you see some of the unmaintained dumps some football clubs play out of.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Tbf folk aren’t expected to hang around for 6 hours on football matchdays.

The spread of fixtures this weekend was absolutely glaring though. In hindsight, it surely would have made sense to finish with Leeds playing on the Sunday night at the very least.

IMG might secretly be quite pleased with Magic this year,  it has sort of strengthened their case to get rid of it. Poor attendance and only one game close, one of two that had nowt riding on it.

I suggest using the last 16 of Challenge Cup for magic, 8 games with two on Friday night, kick offs 5.30 and 8pm.

Because it's packed with LUFC fans who don't care what the ground looks like.

They don't really have the option of going elsewhere.

They do care....they just have no option and if it sells out the owners don't have to care...even their first round league cup games sell out.... probably mostly Wakey, Fev and Cas fans

The owners only want to expand/do it up if they have 2 or 3 consecutive Prem seasons

The ones i know don't, they know it's a ****hole but they seem to revel in the fact that it annoys away/other teams fans, it's their domain and to them it's great as it is  - Falling down and ramshackled.

I've got a bloody sore knee today from the one and only time i tried to sit in a seat properly and i'm on 5'10"
