Yes, considering it was the first game of the football season today and the Rovers were at home. And Doncaster Pride (this years UK Pride city) is going on in the centre today, that is a good turn out

Didn’t realise both teams had played at home on the same day. Quite the double header, that!

If they could get the closer together (probably not possible) it would make doing both a lot easier

8,973 at Stadium Australia on Thursday night for Bunnies v Storm is an attrocious turn out.

Detested thursday night slot and Clashed with wall to wall live coverage of Th’olympics which the aussies are crazy for and have done quite well at.

12,400 announced at Headingley.

Plenty of excuses about to why it wasn't higher but Leeds should be looking to get back to the position where this fixture attracts 50% more than that. I was offered an unused ticket because I didn't think it was going to be a good value for money experience.
It was the first, and probably only, match I'll attend this year and the whole match day experience was really underwhelming. I was so glad the team actually showed up to defend, and won the game because otherwise it would have been a a difficult afternoon.

We desperately need to get away from this run of Saturday afternoon games at Headingley. They are (home) crowd and atmosphere killers. Playing at the same time as the soccer team were at home yesterday was just dumb, unless it was a Sky choice.

The next home game vs Catalan is on a Friday thank God but by then it'll have been over two months since the last Friday game at Headingley.

No idea how we managed such a big crowd. 1000+ more than the Saints game 2 weeks ago and (understandably) Hull probably only brought 200 speccys or so. Sunday afternoon rugby must have brought extra Leythers out 🙂

Anybody know the Huddersfield attendance?

A dreadful 3,330. By my reckoning that’s their lowest league crowd since 2004 excluding the Covid years.

4821 at Wakefield v Sheffield on Friday night which I thought was a bit of a let down.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Think it was lowest of season but Friday night and football on, holidays etc.

Very few away fans (less than 50) for a team riding 3rd in league was a surprise especially at £10 a ticket.

Still almost 5k is reasonable.

I guess a downside of getting Sky Monies is the changing days, whatever the reason for this game day on a Saturday.

Personally I prefer Friday nights but key for me and many others is going the game is habit forming...  and other activities are planned around the regular game day - in Leeds case Friday nights.

This year has been particular a pain and hence for our season tickets am awaiting fixture list before committing. If too many no Fridays and knowing often likely for some to move by Sky I won't be renewing. Not that it will impact the club but saves me significant hospitality monies to use elsewhere.

It's clear from this season fans prefer Sundays

Sundays have always been best for rugby league.

So many young fans at Sunday games but Friday night games are too late for my kids and nephews so there’s future fans lost and less on the day. Can imagine a lot of people don’t take their young ones to Friday night games.

Seeing Trinity run out on Sundays in the blistering heat has been very good and I hope we can continue playing Sundays in SL next season (hopefully).

The odd Friday night is okay but Sundays is where it’s at. Always used to be Sundays in the past too.
