Squad for 2025

Well we made it into the championship and now we have to stay there. From what I have read the club has already signed players for next year to meet that aim. I am curious how many of the existing squad will be retained and who will want to stay- any thoughts?

Probably when everyone else's season is finished

I am sure that is what I read as well! If rumours are true regarding players from higher leagues then we will have two weeks for SL to finish and three for the Championship

As much as some of the other out of  contract players would be preferable I suspect it is Gil Dudson. Along with Mackenzie yea this will be a big pack

He would be a great signing but is tied to the remainder of his 4 year contract at HKR.or it could be they need him to get more experience and now at Championship level. They have strengthened at both full back and half back so I don’t think he would get too much game time there

He'd be better off with us than Featherstone 'also rans' in my opinion.Get loads of game time and really make his mark.

i agree fifties can anybody name a better complete  setup than oldham in the champianship.

Aren't Feath still in financial strife as well. Released a lot of players / downgraded the squad last season as over-reached. Also issues at boardroom level with their chairman saying he was to step down and they would have to reign in their spending going forward.

PLT would likely have more financial security with Oldham and seemed to enjoy his rugby last season

Not seen that anywhere. Unlikely, given him signing a long term deal with Hull KR last year. Another season long loan in the championship would seem logical. Hopefully, he'd prefer to do that at Oldham.
