It will be fun if he's correct and legal action comes about.

Yes undoubtedly he signed up to the system and has conceded that he did, but like many of us who commit to something initially when we learn more about it and get familiar we change our minds, I know I have and to be honest I don't know anybody who hasn't, go on tell me you have never changed your mind Damien.

"I haven’t gone from being a top club to bottom I’ve come from outside the league to being above you both years and winning a trophy!"

That's why he was on the pitch at the end of the Challenge Cup final and he couldn't let the players have their moment.  For him, it is just about him.

Well he gets a lot of reactions on this site.🤔

Unlike chairmen. owners and directors of most present SL clubs he has seen both sides. He can give a more balanced view for the future of the game than those who have been underachieving in the top tier year after year and have very little interest in the teams below SL .This puts the game at risk of shrinking. Therefore less players being developed.

Changing your mind is one thing.

suing is a different matter especially when it doesn’t involve his club.

What basis would he have for a law case?

I do believe that is the complacency a lot of posters on this site have with a I'm alright Jack attitude, and to be fair it is my also my opinion like Mr B in that I do not expect that Leigh will be demoted to the Championship but we have been there and had the ambition to get out if it, something that this system will not give the opportunity to do so no matter how it is dressed up, only @Worzelis honest enough to say it is designed to facilitate a closed shop, if the RLF allows that to happen they will do so knowing the game as a whole will suffer.

Where has suing come from CHRIS, and who would be suing who?

Nah, nobody will probably not be interested in the least with what you have to say.

So they are interested.

If you change your mind on a legal document you agreed to though you would accept that there would be penalties coming your way.

Amazing that he and Harry believe you can just ignore contractual obligations because you've changed you mind 🤣

What legal basis could there possibly be for relegating Hull? The system was voted on before this season began. Its hilarious that months and months later he is still so upset about the Asiata signing. Knock yourself out Derek, take it to court, it's your own money you are wasting.

I cant wait until next week when he needs Hull to beat Catalans for Leigh to make the playoffs, and we lose 74-0. He might actually explode.

Exactly, nothing has changed since the vote, and indeed Hull would have far more grounds for legal action than Derek Beaumont

It will be more fun if he takes the RFL to court over something he agreed to and Leigh get a big points deduction for bringing the game in to disrepute.

My old solicitor Mr Goldman in Pontefract told be avoid going to court with legal contractual issues if at all possible. He was about 60 when he said over the years i have seen and heard judgements from the legal profession that defy all logic.Sometimes it depended on which side of the bed the judge got out of.

Only worzel has said that the system is designed for a closed shop? I don't think so.

Legal Document, or an Agreenent?

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of judges wouldn't agree with him seeing as though literally nothing has changed with the agreement he's signed up for, other than hull has the temerity to sign one of his players. Now I'm no fancy big city lawyer, but I'm guessing there's no legal precedent based on "the bigger boy took my ball".

Won't matter one jot if we get an A grade, PROTECTION guaranteed. It's the future.

100% it will be a legal document both sides would only get involved if it was all legally binding.

If you take it in the context I said it Ainley, I was intimating from those who know they are safe in this system.
