I'm in a can't lose position today.

I am a Wigan fan put not as passionate as I was, and consider myself more a fan of the sport as a whole.

So a Wigan win will be good personally, but KR win will be good for the sport (and I've always had a real soft spot for KR since the Gavin Miller days).

Hoping for a great game and a great occasion to cap off an entertaining season and play off's.

I'm very much like you, Dunbar.  Wigan were my team back in the 1960s when I was introduced to the sport, but nowadays my first choice is Les Dracs.

So, a Wigan win would certainly not disappoint me, but victory for KR would be great for the game.

For any of you attending the game, I hope that your travel arrangements go smoothly and that you have a good day.

Part of me is really looking forward to this game. The best two teams over the course of the season, there has been a bit of a buzz with Hull KR getting to the Grand Final and the match between these two last month was fantastic.

Maybe it's the naturally pessimistic rugby league fan in me that is giving me the hunch that it will not be as competitive this time. I think it will be like the Challenge Cup Final. On the scoreboard, reasonably close, but with Wigan holding Hull KR at an arm's length and never truly looking threatened.

I think Wigan win 20-4.

Well I've been round town this morning and seen a few KR fans heading to the train station, even shared a bit of banter with one of them! 😉

My son sent this nice heartwarming message to his Hull KR supporting mate earlier - "I hope you get annihilated".

I was so proud I was almost filling up.

It seems to rain on most grand finals . Prediction not from me ,but I'm really excited about this one because Hull KR are a first timer with a real chance of winning . First twenty minutes ,first half even will tell us a lot

BBC Weather suggests the rain will ease off as the game goes on. Let's hope so.

Well I'm currently trying to find someone to go to the pub with me to watch the game but everyone is bloomin' busy!

Your son has a KR supporting mate, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Going with the Radio 5 build-up, switching to TV with about 5 minutes to go.

Decent so far.

Just a few minutes to go! This is it! The culmination of the SL season. Let's all of us put our differences aside, no matter what, and enjoy it, whatever the outcome.👍👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆🏆

I finally found somewhere to watch the game. I've flown over to Brother Goose's nest. He's not a big rugby league fan but he's paid for it on Now TV in exchange for me buying him a Chinese takeaway!

Get the peking duck. They are always stealing the Goose glory if you ask me.

The stadium may be in need of some repair but it looks great on tv.
