The Hallucinating Goose Posted February 2 Posted February 2 11 mins gone, York in again. Keighley have barely seen the ball yet.
The Hallucinating Goose Posted February 2 Posted February 2 22 mins and York get a third. A good defensive set from Keighley and then they knock on the kick at the end and then York stroll over the line. Conversion missed. Keighley 0-16 York
PREPOSTEROUS Posted February 2 Posted February 2 York look like they're starting this season how they finished last. They run hard and defend aggressively. Their pivots are clever. I think it's between them and Bradford to win the Championship. 1
The Hallucinating Goose Posted February 2 Posted February 2 And they're in again. 26 mins gone. Keighley 0-22 York
The Hallucinating Goose Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) 34 mins gone and York get a 5th try with another easy stroll over. Converted. Keighley 0-28 York Edited February 2 by The Hallucinating Goose
The Hallucinating Goose Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) 6th try on the stroke of halftime. Edited February 2 by The Hallucinating Goose
northamptoncougar Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Keighley sack a local legend with 10 years coaching experience with Burleigh Bears for a director of rugby who oversaw a relegation, a contact book that doesn’t extend outside the BD postcode and zero coaching experience. We get what we deserve!! 1 1
Futtocks Posted February 2 Posted February 2 A bit lucky maybe, but at least the Cougars aren't going to be nilled. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson
Futtocks Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Keighley 12:72 York at FT. 1 Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson
ricky Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Will the KR game be on Friday night (5 days after this) or on Sunday (5 days before KR's game against Cas) Can't be Sat, as York City are playing at the LNER that day

SUPERSTUD Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Poor effort from Keighley which ever way anyone may attempt to dress it up. A clear and obvious lack of desire to defend their own line. Did not expect them to win but to concede over 70 at home is quite simply unacceptable. Has there really been any all round improvement under Mr Webster? Not sure that there has really.
Simon Hall Posted February 2 Posted February 2 This is probably the best York side I’ve seen in 40 odd years so I don’t think Keighley should be too down beat. They won’t play anyone better this season. Obviously can’t take too much from today but we look to have gone up a level since last season. Hopefully we improve even further. 9 http://www.alldesignandprint.co.uk Printing & Graphic Design with Nationwide Service Programmes | Leaflets | Cards | Banners & Flags | Letterheads | Tickets | Magazines | Folders | Brand Identity plus much more Official Matchday Programme Print & Design Partner to York City Knights, Heworth ARLFC, York Acorn RLFC & Hunslet RLFC Official Player Sponsor of Marcus Stock for the 2020 Season

Futtocks Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Looks like The Sportsman is showing two cup ties this weekend - York v Hull KR and Halifax v Catalans. 1 Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson
DEANO Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Over 4000 tickets sold for York v kr 1 sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward

Rovers going in without a warm up, potential for a scrappy encounter but it will still be a big ask for York to keep it competitive.
