Would be great to see Hull KR win just to see someone different lift the trophy. It's been Warrington, Wigan, Saints or Leeds for the past 9 years.

Agree with the sentiment, but I think the cup final hasn't been too bad in terms of variety. 5 different winners in 10 years is a lot more varied than when we had Wigan winning 8 on the trot. I think Hull KR will be the 8th club to play at the new Wembley, so most of the current SL line-up have made it at some point.

As I've said I'm travelling more in hope than expectation but stranger things have happened.

Never had this Wembley week feeling before as I was only 1 last time we made the CC final. Loving every minute of it, anticipation of the journey down there, excitement at seeing my team run out at Wembley, seeing the fans flock into the ground, and the sudden bouts of nervousness at the thought of maybe, just maybe, pulling off the impossible. It's what this great game and competition is all about. Even if we get hammered it's been one hell of a ride in this years competition and can only put us in good stead for next year.

but this Leeds side is the best SL side I've seen since SL started up .

WoW! Have to say that this Leeds team do look "comfortable' in every position and rarely look flustered, so you might be right.....just I'd never really thought of them like that. Christ, to think I never rated Mac as a coach.....shows what I know!

Thank You for Listening

Derek

I honestly don't mind who wins as they are both Yorkshire clubs.

Maybe one day there'll be a statue to commemorate great Yorkshire players.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Enjoy your day.

I was too young to go watch Leeds in 78 so it was a long wait till the next final. After all those failures in between, reaching Wembley in 93 and the anticipation and build up of the big day was wonderful. Result on the day was a disappointment but whatever the outcome you'll still have a great time. Gutted to be missing the final this year.

Replay -Huddersfield!-RFL no ambition !

Two RFL staff after hearing Hull KR have enquired as to where a replay will be if it's a draw...

"A draw?!?!, ha ha ha, that's hilarious, and you think they were serious?, just tell 'em it'll be Huddersfield to get rid of 'em"

listening to Jon Wells on Sky Sports equating this weekend with '98 and Sheffield v Wigan. That's just nuts.

Hull KR are an SL side, they lack strength in depth which has seen some pretty awful performances but they have a good first team side and definitely capably of winning.

Leeds are obviously favourites but this talk of Hull KR looking to keep it close is just dumb.

Why Sheffield were a very good team in 98. It's just that Wigan were hot favourites. Seems very similar to me.

Especially given how poor Leeds record is in CC finals since the turn of the century. Played in seven, won only one of them.

Give some credit to Leeds, they might just manage to get a draw. In your scenario it took Rovers to ask the question, Leeds were not that optimistic.

A draw would be great for everyone, another game to look forward to, more revenue and all the emphasis in Hull still on the only win at Wembley being ours and against them. I will take that.

Danny Jones' widow Lizzie, who will be singing at the Final, will be on ITV's breakfast programme tomorrow morning. Just seen a trailer during the News at 10.

I was at Wembley today, the stadium and pitch looked in great form; I hope it's a good game on Saturday!

There were loads of permanent pictures of RL players and events throughout the Stadium, which was great to see. My favourite was of the staff helping to erect the posts, all in flat caps and jackets :)

That'll do me as well Steve, massively looking forward to the game now, tbh.

I know it might seem a bit odd coming from a black and white but the nearer it gets the more excited I am.

Although I'm one of the 7.69% (statistic correct at 0645 on 28/08/2015) of voters who didn't want either team to win, if Rovers prevail I'll have won a few quid from a parachute payment bet and it won't be too unpleasant watching Danny Mcguire shed a few tears, whereas if Leeds win.....well I'm sure you can guess the rest.  B)

Although I want a Rovers win, the thought of a 2nd arduous game for them before they play Wakefield has made me select no winner as preference.

Weather forecast is good for travelling this aft' and right through till after game tomorrow but wet from there on, through Sunday too.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.
