I'm a huge fan of TMTCH. I was gutted by this news.

When I first saw 'Cush' trending on Twitter, I didn't think it would be about TMTCH at all, as they are not the kind of band that would ever trend on Twitter, but I clicked on it anyway and couldn't believe what I was reading.

Aside from owning all their stuff, I've seen them live many times and they were always a great night out. Phil 'Swill' Odgers has the better 'traditional' singing voice, but Cush brought the edge to their music. Together, their anthemic harmonising could send shivers down your spine or make you want to start a revolution! Have a listen to The Ghosts of Cable Street or The Colours to see what I mean.

I once saw them do an impromptu gig at a pub in Keighley when a festival they had been due to appear at got cancelled at the last minute. Leaving the pub after the gig, Swill was out the back having a cig and shouted across to me to say 'thanks for coming'. They were that sort of band. I loved 'em. Really sad there will be no more nights like that.

I didn't think so either, but there are a lot of fans out there, it seems. One hell of a band.

Peter Lawrence, father of missing Claudia Lawrence, aged 74. I always felt for him whenever I saw him on TV - her disappearence really hit him hard but at least he turned it into something positive.

His IMDB page takes a lot of scrolling to get to the bottom.

That was a long list, but as soon as I saw Best Marigold Hotel, I knew who he was.
