91 dead but I’m away again for a couple of weeks so will stick with that until I get back. I’ll then be expecting a sharp rise due to living on takeaways and beer gardens being back open.

Two points, one about me, one in general.

Firstly, my BMI is around 45, I'm 33 years old. I am going to go forward safely and healthily to reduce my BMI below 35 before I turn 35 years old in less than 18 months time. I know BMI is misleading but it has a nice ring to it.

Secondly, make sure your details are up to date with your doctors. I think I have fallen between the cracks for a vaccine because my BMI may have been just below 40 18 months / 2 years ago when I last went to see my specialist in person and got weighed for my records.

I made a point to check my weight* and update my records when I went to the GP last week, and my BMI is now the aforementioned 45. It seems I made the update too late for a vaccine call up.

*My bathroom scales weren't working properly, I would get on and get a reading, then a few further check readings in the next minute or so were very different each time, falling by 3-4 pounds each time. There be the Laws of Unintended Consequences.

Not to worry as I think it was more down to me being late posting my weight. As I said though I will stick on that for a couple of weeks while I’m away.

Down to 155lbs this week, down 2.5lbs.  I've upped the walking and jogging now the streets are safe (we're in lockdown 3 now, no gyms or pools open).  Still being mindful of portion control and tracking my food intake, but made more of a conscious effort on drinking more water.

This week is officially my one year anniversary of being at or below my 160lb goal weight, maintaining at 70-75lbs lost in total.  Really happy about that and this definitely feels like a sustainable lifestyle change.  Medical issues much more bearable, medication down and mental health is so much better too compared to where I was.

No going back!

158lbs this week, up 3lbs.  Ate some of the feelings with the separation this week (piled into Monster Much, Pot Noodles and Cornish pasties from the British shop in town that just opened), but I also did the longest distance on Runkeeper this week (5.8k) and also my fastest (7:00 min/k) pace in two different sessions.  I find I go up when increasing activity when I'm sore and retaining fluid.

Set at Strava PB for 10k this morning (the Garmin thinks I was second slower than the time it thinks is my fastest). Pleased with it, especially as, unlike every other PB I've ever had, it didn't come on a flat run but featured some actual hills - and finishing into a headwind.

Also, in happier news, weight appears to be heading back in the right direction having inched annoyingly high. So 80.3kg for the table now.

I’m up to 91.8kg but I still feel I’m moving in the right direction as I think I was probably up to 93+kg while away.  Also like everyone else slowly starting to get some fitness back as places are opening up just a bit wary of picking an injury up by pushing it too much. Which as you get older is what can really set you back with exercise.

Weighed in at 67kg today, having been down to 66.4kg last week. I'm stabilisng now at a BMI of about 23.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. Gyms are shut here and my stuff is being shipped to the UK on the 25th.

Therefore, i'm attempting to do 10,000 swings with the 24kg kettlebell before then, starting yesterday with 750.

Another 750 yesterday. Will try today's in the shade, see if i can find some energy.

155.6lbs this week.  Had to take a break from the running efforts as I mucked myself up swapping winter tires off the van, but figuring out ways to get this stuff done within my limitations has its fun. 😆

Coincidentally, the family were as supportive as usual when they noticed the goose egg on the side of my head where I smashed it on the corner of the jack.  Wellied myself in the head on something two inches off the ground.  Talent that is.  Glad to keep up my Dad's family traditions.

A guestimate of 164.7Kgs....

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

You doing them in blocks with a recovery between I guess?

You got a rough indication of how many per block?

I aimed for 1,000 per day. 1st few days were 750, then 900.

Hit another 1,000 today and i can get it done within an hour. Maybe doing it in the stairwell rather than the 34 degree sun helps..

5,600 to go before the 25th
