Fenton Knight Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Promises to be a great occasion, win, lose or draw, with some fans working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure that the last home game of the season, and possibly the last at BC, are remembered for years to come. And the small matter of the match, a win for the Knights would prolong the season yet further and take this incredible team to within two games of Super League. Be there, be loud, be York City Knights!
paul Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 When ordering tickets on line do you pick them up Saturday at the ground or are sent to you by post

The office is definitely open between 9.30.am and 2.30pm but usually longer than that. N.G. confirmed what we thought, season tickets aren't valid for the game. Hope this helps.

AB Knight Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Shows how far we’ve come as a club, I remember us getting excited when late in the week York confirmed a 2nd stand would be open for the 2017 game against Toronto. This Saturday all 4 stands will be open if I’ve read things correctly. Wonder if we can beat the 4281 crowd against Bradford last year.

The way Fev fans are embracing the game.
Rooney's Ears Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Featherstone Rovers fans will be placed in the Popular Stand and the Away uncover stand (Opposite to where fans were stood during the last game at Bootham Crescent). Fans will be able to gain entry to the ground from the Away Stand turnstiles. CHAMPIONS 2005

Two teams for varying reasons can be ultra proud of what they have achieved this season. The atmosphere will be top notch for the Sky cameras.
Roger York Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Yes quite right 2 teams who should be both very proud of what they have achieved this season. Reading your forum pre season there was not a lot of optimism but your new coach has done fantastic and used the dual reg very well and got the Leeds players wanting to play for Fev which is good and should be applauded instead of everyone having a go , we used dual reg to our advantage last season and it does have benefits if the players buy into it. Obviously I hope York win but my head is saying Featherstone but who ever wins I hope they go onto the final. Looking forward to Saturday it should be a great atmosphere and both teams whatever happens can look back at the season with pride and have strong foundations for next season.
fev4evatiggerneva Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Looking forward to the trip to York, missed the last 1 due to holiday, old team mate of mine Fordy, done a cracking job and should walk coach of the year for me. Should be a great occasion saturday and great atmosphere.

Always thought this had been deemed an unsafe area....who cares?.....get em in ...looking forward to this as per. Punch before hand with my Fev mucka and one of us will be paying for a few in The Tav afterwards.

Nope, it’s open every other Saturday for football away fans, plus it’s only a matter of weeks ago a few thousand Leeds Utd fans were in there.?
fev4evatiggerneva Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 What's it like for getting tickets on the day, not been able to get down to fev with work commitments, and do kids need a ticket or do they just walk in with them been free?
Rooney's Ears Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Will stand swapping be allowed? as in can the supporters from each end swap at half time? Are we anticipating we will fill the longhurst stand? we usually fill the main stand and a few go into the longhurst stand. The longhurst will look empty? CHAMPIONS 2005

When I was a lad and watched City there was a tunnel at the back of the pop stand, and both sets of supporters used it to change ends at half time. Never a problem then, but it wouldn't happen now.

Attendance should be circa 4000 so the ground will look well balanced

Go to the loo before you enter the ground. The away toilets are award winning from all Football fans who visit Bootham Crescent.
Clarence Street Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 I see 2 or 3 faces back in the 19 man squad for Saturday who were missing last Saturday plus Andy Ellis!
