Hang on, he was definitely offside but we have one quick look and play on? Eh.

Definitely offside? Thought it was line ball to be fair and given the decision sent upstairs was try, surely the correct decision.

We’re not playing forward passes. GB need to seize on that in the 2nd half.

Said that earlier and got barracked.

He wasn't offside. I found it refreshing that he didn't need to watch the same action seven times (à la Super League) on the off-chance something different showed up.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Several myths about NRL based players blown away in one half of TGG

Tonga look Gooood!

"It is, by a million miles, a better sport than union. League is 80 minutes of physicality, speed, good handling, good kicking. It’s continuous."

I'm getting as bored with our attack as watching Warrington.

Maybe we need to move away from some of these NRL coaches.

Don't worry, haven't you got Widdop for next season!

Well he was, just watching again and it's even more obvious. Very odd how one quick look from a pretty poor angle is all he did.

Yup. He is a huge step up from Patton, but the issue is coaching imho.

It's one of the 'improvements'the NRL made. Dont bother about accuracy, just do it quickly.

Not saying he was offside but I dont think that view was anywhere near conclusive.

I think I've just took a breath for the first time in 40 minutes.

Tonga have been sensational. Thought we had weathered the storm and were starting to get back into it when Tonga scored, which had a little bit of luck to it, but they had to be good enough to take advantage of it.

GB probably need to try and get at least 50% of the possession and move the big Tongan players around the park to tire them out. Easier said than done as Tonga will be well up for it

100% League 0% Union

Just because I don't know doesn't mean I don't understand

I think we were more than getting back in it, we were dominating field position at the point they scored there try, that try completely re-energised them unfortunately.

As we saw in the WC, they can take a lot the Tongans. We dominated for an hour in that semi and playing their basketball style stuff and with the energy they came right back.

Hopefully they have had their purple patch.

Its no surprise Tonga are playing so well, they are full of top class players most playing  in the nrl. The have been far more physical than us and we do not have an answer.
