I find it very strange them not mentioning that game.

No idea but interestingly only four who started that game start this: Hill, Burgess, Whitehead and Bateman.

I went to a Union World Cup game at Elland Road (free hospitality ticket). It was made very clear that we had to be back at our seats by the time the second half kicked off. I am assuming that the image of the ground before and during the game was planned out to the last detail.
