It’s rather depressing that one of England’s best players is an Aussie who is about to retire. I’ve not seen anyone in the England’s womens game that has the half back skills that Winfield Hill has

Really impressed with this England performance.  Went down a score and maybe could have executed a couple of plays better but the physical aspect has been superb.  Loads of bodies in tackles and really got on top of what is a big and strong PNG team.

Courtney Winfield-Hill's half-back play is really impressive. She has a passing option and a kicking option.

The two cross-kicks and then the short, sharp pass to put the big front-rower away show a really nice touch.

She's a proper nugget of a player who does everything right. It's like a new development team who has an old fella from Cas playing for them at 13.
