It’s so embarrassing for the sport that the lead pundits are slating refereeing decisions and frankly, lying. Contact with the head is not legal. It hasn’t been for a while now. McDermott is a moron of epic proportions and now contradicting himself.

Except there was no contact to the Head

Paul Wellens has certainly passed his "Angel of the North" impersonation to his players quite impressively.

Secondary contact with the head, didn't see it on my telly, maybe the VR had more views.

I see Welsby is not that sort of a player despite having a history of hystionics.

What was that Catalans sinbin supposedly for? Not being obtuse, I've got the Wire game on the radio but couldn't for the life of me see a foul.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

The ref had obviously forgotten the text that all 50/50 decisions must go against Catalan when he binned Hurrell so he had to even it up by binning Ikauhifo for a solid contact

Welsby looked remarkably well bearing in mind he couldn’t get up after that…

Why didn't he go off for HIA?

I didn’t think there was anything wrong with the tackle - definitely not a yellow. But Welsby didn’t get up as he got smashed. I imagine most players would take a little bit of time to recovery from such a tackle.

I was wondering that . Obviously in Oz they have full control over what they see , I don’t know if here they do or see what we see

Doesn’t play in to the pie eyed narrative though does it mate.

I wonder how long Keighran took to build sand castles when he was a kid.

I am baffled as to why that Saints head shot was not a sinbin. Explain please.
