I do think Jouffret is a cracking little player. Could easily play Super League if he wanted to.

I always think this, although I've seen him go missing in some matches. A joy to watch him when he is at his best though, he really injects speed and energy to the attack.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I was at the game and I’ve now seen it on tv so here’s my thoughts.

Pundits were Kyle Amor and Jodie Cunningham both ex St Helens, yes, we know they’re a great team, world club champs etc etc but as someone said Kyle probably needs some tissues to wipe himself down he was so excited at every little thing they did.

I never thought we’d win, I was very happy with our effort, losing Keyes early doors meant we lost some options in the middle, but we battled hard. It would have been nice for Kyle and Jodie to acknowledge the part time nature of the Panthers side, builders, plumbers etc.

Knowles is a liability to Saints, well in front with less than a minute on the clock and he decides to take off Inman’s head and deserved the red.

Big respect to the Saints players who came across to the south stand at the end to acknowledge our fans and hang around for ages for selfies and autographs.

a great evening.

20 points ahead with 25 seconds to go and he does that. If it was a game saver you could understand it, but what a ridiculous thing to do in that situation.

But Saints say of Knowles "he's not that kind of player"

Like I said about his team mate Lees who is also according to Saints "not that type of player"

When is it going to come the time that they are branded for being what they actually are ........ fill in as you see fit.

They are both proving to be liabilities for their team.

So can we all agree now he is that sort of player?

I’m not sure anyone has said that about either Lees or Knowles. They both want to hurt the opposition player when they go into contact. 12 months ago Knowles had the balance right between aggression and control he’s completely lost that and is becoming a liability to Saints. I see a lot of similarities to the way Bentley went at the end of his time at Saints. With Bentley I put that down to him believing his own press coverage and trying to prove how tough he is every game instead of getting on with the job he’s actually good at. Knowles is going round trying to smash everyone and like Bentley he isn’t big enough

Knowles is a buffoon. He used to be a decent ball handling 13, but Woolf knocked all the skill out of him to become just someone who is a bulldozer. He’s overrated and even some of the Saints fans are actually realising that now.
I though Halifax played really well and they was unlucky suffering a couple of injuries. I can’t remember the lads name but i was impressed with Fax’s No21.
Saints were back to normal with their abysmal kicking game. Delaney played really well for us, and Lussick which is a first. We have the slowest centre’s in the universe in Hopoate & Davies.
It was an enjoyable evening, bar coming back over the Pennines

There was nothing wrong with his intent. The player was in possession of the ball and he want for the big hit on him, he dipped his shoulder and wrapped the arms, his only issue is he didn't dip the shoulder enough and made contact with the head. If he'd dipped his shoulder just 6" lower then he'd be getting loads of praise for putting on a massive hit. In this kind of incident there's a fine line between the near perfect tackle and a high shot and he got it slightly wrong.

Knowles has done some stupid things in recent years but this wasn't one of them, its was just a hard tackle that was slightly too high, and under todays rules he'll probably cop a ban for it.

I can absolutely see why you wouldn't want to return to the wrong side of the pennines, you have my sympathy.

Its like Knowles and Lees have swapped heads, Lee`s seems to have gotten control of himself a bit, Knowles has completely lost control.

Just read the RFL Disciplinary operational rules if you actually want to understand the reason for the 2 game ban !!!

And putting players of other teams out for the season. They are thugs. Nothing less
