We treat punches differently at the disciplinary. 

We make subjective calls all of the time, it's part of the game. There is no one-size fits all solution. 

I don't know Dave, high tackles can have mitigating circumstances - player falling/slipping, initial contact being on the shoulder and bouncing up etc.

There's no mitigating factor for punching someone with a clenched fist.

They've clearly accepted relegation already and have been doing just enough every year to extend their stay by another year for too long now.

Leigh have been poor for large parts but still beating them comfortably.

Looking at that replay, Fifita seemed to go with a closed fist in reply. Just the pushing and shoving stopped him getting a proper punch away. 
 

He might’ve been lucky not to get a card. But Reynolds was even luckier not to get punched back!

The trouble is the joker running the club gave him a three year contract on big money. Lineham is just one of many useless players recruited by an accountant who has not the slightest clue about rugby league, but promoted himself to director of rugby and CEO
