Doncaster win up in Cumbria, 22-19. First time ever we've played them 3 times in a season and won every fixture.

I couldn't go today but it seems that Hurricanes made it easy for Rochdale with a series of knock ons and forward passes that left them with too much to do in a second half where they were much improved in attack.

The ultimate game of two halves, 4-40 first half, 34-0 second half. Cornwall win on aggregate.

First half probably the worst we've seen Cru play in 12 years, but you can only play what's in front of you, so full credit to Cornwall for taking full advantage. Thoroughly deserved the win, so well done Cornwall.

First half Cornwall were very very good, well organised and scoring at will. Crusaders were very very bad with some atrocious defending. Second half Cru were transformed an unbelievable difference. We should have won with the last play of the game but the ball was knocked on with the line at our mercy, gutted. Well done Cornwall.

Yes, that was a seriously weird afternoon in Rhyl, can't say that I'd particularly want to go back there with no covered part of the ground and limited car parking. Didn't think that there were that many there, quite a few regular faces missing.

Nothing against North Wales,but so pleased for Cornwall really seem to have taken a leap forward in the last couple of months , even the games they have lost recently they have been really competitive for a chunk of the game , be good to see a newer club like them to carry on developing as they are

As predicted by many,a very tight game at Hunslet decided on goal kicks in windy conditions.

Hunslet unbeaten at home in the league with just one game remaining against the Skolars. Fingers crossed. 

This season has been a real improvement especially regarding fitness and goal line defence.

Attended Dews v Hunslet as a Dews fan. No team really dominated each other and therefore Hunslet were deserved winners just as Dews would have been. Well done Hunslet. Next please!!

A fair and balanced post SUPERSTUD. It really was a cracking game, never more than four points between the two teams. I understand the official attendance was 1094 LOL. I was on the first level with hardly a spare seat and the top deck, going by the noise was also packed. The bars were packed and the hospitality lounge was packed. 1094, my backside

Yeah no problem Moose. I do my best to call things fair although I do not always get it right. Get a bit blinkered sometimes. Can’t comment re attendance or bars etc. Went home sulking lol. All the best going forward. Really good tough uncompromising game today. Enjoy winning the battle but the war is still ongoing

We (Crusaders) were awful first half. Loads or unforced errors and our defensive line was like a dogs hind leg. Fair play to Cornwall they played really well and exploited our frailties to go in 4 - 40 at half time. The dressing room debrief must have been interesting to say the least!! Second half we came out with fire in our bellies....and were a knock on away from winning - which in fairness would have probably been undeserved...Well done to Cornwall on their win and to the fans who made the long trip up from Penryn.

Cumbria County Council has been disbanded (as have the district councils), they have been replaced by two unitary authorities - Cumberland Council, and Westmorland & Furness Council (although W&F also administers part of the traditional counties of Cumberland and Yorkshire).

Cumbria is still the ceremonial and shrieval county and the police and fire authority.

We won't be going back to Rhyl, that was a one off because of the junior tournament which obviously should have been held at Eirias Park. Lots of families had booked the weekend in North Wales for this event months ago. I know the club are grateful to the RFL for allowing the game to go ahead, despite the venue not being up to League 1 standard, and are also grateful to Rhyl rugby club for having us.

The club met with Conwy Council regarding Eirias Park last week. Apparently they are offering us several free games next year (there are plenty of us who think they should offer us a season for free) and use of an on site bar which we have not had before.

Some of us are touting Deeside Stadium as a new home ground, now that Connah's Quay Nomads football club have moved out. It's up to Welsh Premier football standard, which is a similar standard if not better, than League 1 rugby league. I think the club are showing an interest, even if it is only as a back up plan.
