Not sure when/what Fev got it for if MJ is mistaken . If someone was to say that Fev definitely hadn't had it then I wouldn't be able to supply any evidence to contradict this . I am just going on hearsay to be honest. I may have even heard him wrong . Edited April 27, 2024 by Taffy Tiger

Barley Mow Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I see on social media that Cas have brought some temporary buildings onto the site and are showing what looks like new/renovated changing rooms (possibly within the temporary structures?) More small changes, little improvements that are seemingly affordable while they await hoped for funding to replace the main stand, etc. I see that as a positive - it gets away from accusations of just producing another set of plans, even if redevelopment does occur in the short/medium term and some of these minor improvements are ripped out again. 5

I think the temp buildings are for office staff - Martin Jepson said, in an interview pre christmas, that there is not enough space for everyone to be in the same office as it stands so temp buidlings being brough in to suport collaboration along with new meeting equipment etc. 1

To be fair you only have to read the thread re Belle Vue from the begining to see people scoffing about the chances of redevelopment suddenly going quiet. Edited January 17 by PREPOSTEROUS 4

Yes, what happened to all those people? Have any of them migrated here?! Good luck to Cas. I hope they can make the progress they're looking for. Plenty of room for a strong Cas and a strong Wakey to co exist. Edited January 17 by north yorks trinity 5
Wollo Wollo Wayoo Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I expect the bigger changes will start, in about 2 weeks, once Jepson buys up the other Cas shareholders and takes full ownership. 31st January iirc This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. Well said. Cas did more in the last 12 months than they've done in decades. The way to help get further progress is to celebrate the small wins along the way, there are few silver bullets in rugby league. 2
Taffy Tiger Posted January 17 Posted January 17 From what MJ has said , it looks as though we will be waiting until potentailly end 2026 before work can start on the new stand (providing money has been released by Axiom) . The new temporary office blocks are to allow all staff to be in the same 'building/place' as they were working in different parts of the stadium. The big plus for us was the announcement that teams can carry their current stadium score forward (for a 2 year period) , when stadium upgrades are taking place, which allows us to keep max stadium points when work starts on the new stand . 3
Agbrigg Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Jepson has stated previously that he has a deal on the table to buy the remaining shares in Cas from the fultons. However I believe the deal had a Jan 31 deadline, which is fast approaching. Any news that this might happen ? From my understanding Jepson doesn't have the money himself to do the deal and he is looking for fellow 'investors'. So again has anyone heard if he has found help to raise the cash ?

Hi Agbrigg MJ is looking for fellow investors , but as I understand it this is more to help him with the day to day running of the club as he has previously said it is a big job for one person . I am unaware of him not being able to afford it on his own though (that doesn't mean he can or can't though) , but he would definitely prefer more investors on board with him . I would have thought the day to day running is a job for a CEO. Is Jepson looking to run the club himself ? It just seems strange he wants investors to share the burden of running the club. I suppose business men may be happy to put in money but it may be a big ask to also get their time to help run things. I know Carter was owner/ CEO at Wakefield for several years so it works. However I thought Jepson had other business interests to also deal with. For Carter it was a full time job. 1

I think he does have his other businesses as well , which is why he is looking for other investors and people to help with the duties associated with owning/running the club on a day to day basis. This is how I see it from MJ podcasts in the past though , it doesn't mean that I have got it right though
Morris Wanchuk Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Who’d have thought it, Trinity fans defending Cas but we’ve walked already trodden this path for several years. It does get tiresome when folk on here post stuff without any clue as to what issues are ongoing behind the scenes. It might take years to get any development at Wheldon Rd but Cas own their own ground & can afford their squad. That must count for something? 4
